David Lisk is currently the Vice-President of the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
David is a seasoned Information and Communications Technology (ICT) professional with 35 years of industry experience. Prior to IRAP, David was CEO of DFT Microsystems, a venture backed semiconductor test equipment firm in Montreal. He served as VP of Operations at Tundra Semiconductor with responsibility for manufacturing, QA, systems, product engineering, production testing and customer service. He continued in this role when in 1993 the company spun-out from parent Newbridge Networks (now Alcatel Canada).
David holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.

David Lisk est actuellement vice-président du Programme d’aide à la recherche industrielle du Conseil national de recherches du Canada (PARI CNRC).
David est un professionnel chevronné des technologies de l’information et des communications (TIC) qui compte 35 ans d’expérience dans l’industrie. Avant de travailler au PARI, David a été chef de la direction de DFT Microsystems, une entreprise de matériel d’essai de semi-conducteurs à Montréal. Il a été vice-président des opérations chez Tundra Semiconductor, responsable de la fabrication, de l’assurance qualité, des systèmes, de l’ingénierie des produits, des essais de production et du service à la clientèle. Il a continué à jouer ce rôle lorsque, en 1993, l’entreprise a quitté la société mère Newbridge Networks (aujourd’hui Alcatel Canada).
David détient une maîtrise en administration des affaires (MBA) de l'Université d'Ottawa et un baccalauréat ès sciences appliquées en génie électrique de l'Université de Waterloo.
